28th Georgia Volunteer Infantry

This company left Kinston, North Carolina, July 1863, for Richmond, Virginia. Left Richmond for Wilmington, North Carolina, July 10, 1863, thence to Charleston, South Carolina. Went to Fort Sumter, South Carolina, August 8, 1863, where it remained 10 days, then went to Battery Wagner, South Carolina, where it remained until September 6, 1863.
