Pvt. James T. Ackerson - Company H, 123rd N.Y.S.V. Transferred from the 145th Infantry on December 26, 1863. He mustered out with the comany on June 8, 1865, near Washington, DC. He died in 1932 and is buried in the Stepney (or Beardsley) Cemetery on Pepper Street in Monroe, Connecticut.

Enlisted, August 4, 1862, at Salem, to serve three years; mustered in as sergeant, August 22, 1862; returned to ranks, promoted corporal, and returned to ranks, no date; killed on picket line in front of Atlanta, August 18, 1864. Buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Salem, New York.

Pvt. Thomas Dickinson - Company H, 123rd New York Volunteer Infantry. Thomas Dickinson was born in 1829 in Hartford, N.Y. He enlisted at age 36 at Hartford to serve three years. He mustered in as a private in Company H on September 4, 1862. He died on September 10, 1864, at a field hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally buried in Atlanta, his body was later removed to the Marietta National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia, Section B Grave 1161.

Sgt. Daniel A. Foster - Company H, 123rd New York Vol. Inf. Age, 25 years. Enlisted, August 5, 1862, at Salem, to serve three years; mustered in as private, September 4, 1862; mustered out with company, June 8, 1865, near Washington, D.C.; also borne as Daniel R. The gravestone of Daniel A. Foster and his wife, Caroline Dana, of Shushan, N.Y. They are buried in the Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge, N.Y.

Discharged from hospital in Baltimore, Maryland as Harewood in December 1862. Died at home on March 12, 1863 in Sushan, New York. Buried in the Bininger Cemetery in Eagleville, New York.
